AMBHER Project successfully concludes after four years of research and collaboration
After four years of dedicated research, innovation, and collaboration, the AMBHER Project (Ammonia and MOF-Based Hydrogen Storage for Europe) has successfully reached its final milestone.
The consortium recently held the final review meeting, marking the official conclusion of the project. The meeting was attended by the HaDEA Project Officer and an independent expert, who reviewed the progress achieved, the main results obtained, and the impact generated throughout the project.
Launched with the ambition of addressing key challenges in hydrogen storage and transport, AMBHER brought together partners from across Europe to develop innovative solutions based on green ammonia, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), catalysts, membranes, and advanced reactor technologies.
Over the course of four years, the project consortium worked together to advance knowledge and technologies that can support the future hydrogen economy. Through research activities, testing, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, AMBHER contributed to exploring new pathways for efficient and sustainable hydrogen storage solutions.
The project also focused on strengthening collaboration between research organisations, industry stakeholders, and the wider energy community, ensuring that the knowledge generated could be shared and contribute to future developments in the clean energy sector.
The successful completion of AMBHER represents an important achievement for the entire consortium. The dedication, expertise, and collaboration of all partners have been essential in reaching the project objectives and generating valuable scientific and technological outcomes.
