M46 Consortium meeting at TU/e Eindhovn (NL)

The AMBHER Project consortium recently convened at Eindhoven University of Technology in Eindhoven for a productive in-person meeting, bringing together partners from across Europe to review progress and align on next steps.

The AMBHER project (Ammonia and MOF-Based Hydrogen Storage for Europe) is a Horizon Europe initiative focused on developing advanced hydrogen storage technologies to support the energy transition. The consortium includes leading research institutions, universities, and industrial partners collaborating on innovative solutions for hydrogen carriers and membrane reactor systems.

TU/e plays a key role in the project, contributing expertise in membrane reactors and sustainable process engineering, with leadership in key technical work packages.

A highlight of the meeting was a guided lab tour at TU/e, where participants had the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art research facilities. During the visit, the consortium was introduced to a working prototype developed within the project.

Seeing the prototype in operation provided valuable insight into the practical implementation of the technologies under development and sparked in-depth discussions among partners on performance, scalability, and future improvements.
