Antonio Vita Delivers Lecture on Next-Generation Energy Carriers at Sapienza University of Rome
On April 14th, Antonio Vita had the honor of delivering a lecture titled “Ammonia and Methanol as Next-Generation Energy Carriers: Challenges and Opportunities” at the Sapienza University of Rome, within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
The event, organized for students, provided a dynamic platform to explore the evolving role of sustainable fuels in the global energy transition. Vita expressed his sincere appreciation to Professor Domenico Borello for the kind invitation and the excellent organization, which contributed to a highly engaging and insightful experience.
Throughout the lecture, students were introduced to the potential of ammonia and methanol as alternative energy carriers, alongside the technical and economic challenges associated with their implementation. The interactive session allowed for meaningful exchanges, fostering curiosity and encouraging deeper interest in sustainable energy technologies among attendees.
Beyond the lecture itself, the visit created valuable opportunities for academic dialogue and future collaboration. Antonio Vita extended his gratitude to Orlando Paolone, Fausto Gallucci, and Professor Luca Cedola for their warm hospitality and constructive discussions.
The occasion also served as a platform for dissemination activities 1CUBE initiative, with contributions alongside Fausto Gallucci supporting the promotion of the AMBHER project.
